Champions Dino Park

Today we had a playdate at Champions Park. It was a HUGE sand box, with a HUGE dinosaur bone down the middle, there were a lot of sand toys, paint brushes (to clean off the dino bones), and all kinds of fun shovels. I had never seen anything like it. We had a lot of fun, even though I dressed them all in jeans- thinking it was fall- and it was not. Walker ate the sand, and I guess it tasted good enough to try again (I don't see how!). The kids each brought home enough in their shoes and diapers to fill our sand table outside, now if I could just figure out how to get it from the rug to the sand table!

Aren't these pictures beautiful?? My friend Jackie is the BEST photographer, I was telling her that when I take pictures and my kids aren't looking they look horrible, but hers are art (I just love the one of Walkers hair with his Parrot island shirt on). She is going to be famous...till then I am just going to follow her around to all the playdates so she can take good pictures of my kids! You should see some of the ones she takes of her daughter, absolutely amazing!

I walked in on Brooklynn playing with her barbies, it is too funny because all she talked about was "Uncle Tom Tom". I like when she realized I was there :)

Walkers Cackle~

Uncle Tom Tom was flipping a Hot Wheels car and Walker thought it was the funniest thing in the world- I just love listening to his cackle. Too cute!!

The kids loved having their uncles in town this past weekend, although we only saw Unkie for one day...they got to see Uncle Tom Tom for a few days. They like having

their unlces around.

Walker got a bunch of shots at the DR's on Friday...poor guy came right home and passed out on Unkie- he hasn't fallen asleep in someones arms for quite a while, so sweet!!

Brooklynn's New Hello Kitty TV...

Yes, the princess has a pink Hello Kitty TV. Here is an updated pic of her room...pretty girly huh?? They love watching tv in Brooklynns room now, but she prefers only to watch "Barney & Princess"... no "Cars".

Nikolas had a lot of fun helping Eric build the bunkbed on Saturday. He was pretty good with the ratchet and the hammer, I was impressed- and he was very proud of himself.

The Finished Product...

Here it is...Nikolas and Walkers new room. The bunkbed turned out great. The bunkbed is for little kids- it isn't even as tall as am (Yes, I know that isn't saying much). We ended up putting Walkers crib mattress (with the crib tent over it) on the bottom bunk, till he is big enough to have a full sized twin mattress. The rest of the bottom bunk has a bunch of pillows and comfy chairs for reading (notice the bookshelf with books right near it). They really like it! We bought a tent for Nik's bed...it is pretty cool, it has stars on it, and when you are under it you can see them...pretty cool. He likes it. So far he hasn't tried to get down the ladder- but we have been keeping a good eye on him through the video monitor, to make sure he is sitting & laying down. He was scared at first when we put him up there, but he is fine now. Walker got used to his new sleeping arrangements instantly, he is very adaptable (he didn't get that from me).

The kids love the extra space...it is hard to tell, but there is really a lot more room than before. We sold the toddler bed and the crib...it was a little sad, but I got through it :)
