Happy Turkey Day!!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had Brian, Thomas and Candy over for Thanksgiving. Eric cooked, and as always it was YUMMY! I am so glad I married a chef, or else we would have had mac n cheese, hot dogs and icecream for dessert.

Today I put up Christmas- the kids enjoyed decorating the tree, and their rooms (Nikolas most of all). Now we are on to the exciting part- reminding all three kids and Dusty not to touch the Christmas Tree.

I have a lot of pics on my camera, that I plan on adding tomorrow. Sorry it has been so long since I have updated- I promise I will soon :)

The Wedding Reception (Video)

After a week in McAllen- we drove to Houston for Erics cousins Wedding Reception. It was a lot of fun and it was so great to see everyone! I didn't take many pictures, although the photographer there was having a field day with my kids, they were all putting on a show, especially Walker.

Walker was definitely NOT shy, and LOVES to dance, and we didn't even know! He wouldn't stay off the dance floor, and definitely was not having a problem getting down. He would even go right in the middle of the floor, stomp his feet, spin in circles and wave his hands in the air, the boy has some moves! We would even take him away, to eat, or do something else, and he would run right back and go right to the middle, it was too funny. At one point his shoes kept falling off, but that didn't stop him, he took off his dancing shoes and danced barefoot!

The kids and I are headed to McAllen for the week to spend some time with Eric. I think it will be great for everyone since we have been missing him a lot lately! The kids are really excited, and I am almost done packing. Candy & pops are going to watch the dogs and the house! I will update the blog with more pics when we get back!

Too Cute!

The kids hold hands everytime we get out of the car, until we get to where we are going, it is the easiest way for me to keep track of them all. They have gotten really good at it, and I usually don't have to remind them to hold hands. Soon, Walker will be right there with them, it is still easier for me to carry him in the sling than let him walk.

Playdate at the Park

The kids had a lot of fun on Monday playing at the park with their friends. Nikolas really loves playing with Mary, he talks about her all the time, and got so excited when I told him that she was going to be there. I am having so much fun with the playgroup- I have met such wonderful people, and the kids are enjoying the playdates. Sometimes we get out 2-3 times a week, it is great.

I don't even bring my cameras to playdates that I know Jackie will be at, she is such a good photographer and I know she will get some good shots of the kiddos. Check out Walkers afro! Thanks Jackie for these great pictures!!!

THe Kids on Halloween

This Halloween we stayed home, since Eric wasn't here- and I didn't feel like dragging the kids around the neighborhood. The kids got dressed up in their costumes and helped hand out candy. They all did great at handing it out, but after a while Brooklynn got bored, and then Nikolas- but Walker was there the whole time stuffing candy & toys in the kids bags. He would put it in their bags and say "thank you" it was so cute. I think he was trying to tell them that they needed to say thank you. We did discover though, that he is terrified of ghosts and clowns.
