Walker's Birthday Party!

Walker had a lot of fun playing with his friends at his birthday party.It was a little stressful, but turned out great. It rained the whole day before the party, so I was so worried it would be raining or muddy- but it wasn't. It was very windy- Eric had to tape the tablecloth completely around the picnic table to keep it on. But, it all worked out, the kids played and had a lot of fun. They helped Walker open presents and made a mess with the cake- quite a success for a toddlers birthday party!

Stephanie & Jayson

I haven't seen Stephanie for a very long time (over 5 years, at least!). I was so glad she was able to make it to the party. She brought her 10 month old son Jayson. He is such a cutie, and reached for me right away (I loved it!!).

Opening presents

Walker LOVED all his presents he got. He wanted to play with all of them after he opened them (and so did all his friends and brother and sister). He had a great time when he got home and was able to play with them all. He got some great things!! Thanks everyone!!

Eating cake

Mmm...it was a good cake. Of course I ordered it over the phone so I didn't know there was red icing on it. The dye finally came off Walker's hands today. What a mess! But, so much fun :)

My Little Gymnast

Brookie says she wants to be a Ballerina, but I think she would be a great Gymnast (she does her ballerina moves with one hand on the ground, and one foot in the air). She was practicing her balance beam here and did it for about 20 minutes while the boys played with Daddo & Howard.

Big kids!

Eric and Howard had a great time playing with the kids. Both of them are still kids- just a little bigger!! Walker didn't seem to mind though!

We had some friends come over after Walker's birthday party. We had a great time. Many of them haven't been around too many children. It was pretty cute to see them all playing with the kids- they were better at it than they thought!

What a Cuddle bug

Isn't he adorable! He is so cuddly. I love this age :) He reminds me of Nik- he was a thumb sucker (still is).

When Nik, Brook & Haleigh have "school" at our house, Walker goes to play at Ambers. I didn't know he had jumped on the trampoline, his brother and sister would be jealous. Looks like he loved it !!

Happy First Birthday Jakey!!

Jacob turned one the day after Walker's birthday! The kids and I had a good time at his birthday party. He got pretty messy eating his birthday cake. He was a very happy Birthday Boy!!

Happy Birthday Little man!!

It seems like yesterday that Walker was born, I can't believe my baby is two! Time sure goes by fast and it just reminds me that the little things are what matter the most. Sitting down and reading a book, giving one more kiss before bed, and letting them stay up late. They grow up way too fast. When they are little you can't wait for them to walk, then talk and then all of a sudden they are little people, and you wonder where the time went. We now have three little people running around (and no, I don't count). Happy Birthday Mr. Trouble- we all love you :)

Reading his new book with Daddo

Walker got some new Cars books. He loves to read, and loves Cars, and loves reading with daddo even more!!

The Dinosaur

Walker got a dinosaur that makes all kinds of noises. He liked it a lot- it was one of his favorites that we gave him (besides the helicopter).

The Diego watch

He got a Diego watch, he really liked it. I love these pictures because it looks like he is checking out what time it is.

More presents...

He did really well opening his presents this year (without any help). He only opened half of the ones that we bought him, we figured we would split them up. He opened his car sheets, car towel, some new cars- his favorite is the helicopter, he got a dinosaur that makes all kinds of noises, some Cars books and a Diego watch. He was very happy with his presents, and so were his brother and sister who didn't understand why they weren't opening presents!!

Walker loved the Potato Head that Andrea got him. He played with it for quite a while, and got most of the parts in the right places.
